Admission to Reception Class, September 2022

The Governors have drawn up and approved the Admissions Policy and Over-subscription Criteria for our school. These are published in the 'Applying for a primary school place September 2022 – 2023'.  This book also contains the regulations and timetable for application for admission and the School's Admission Policy, giving full explanation of the Over-subscription Criteria.  This is available to view at the school office.

Please note that admission to the Nursery does not guarantee admission to the Reception Class. The School has an admission limit of 60.

Please complete the Warrington Borough Council form online.  This is a legal requirement.

If you have any problems completing the form please contact The Admissions Team, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington. WA1 2NJ (01925) 444400.

You must also complete the School form; this form requests some information which is necessary for our own admissions procedure.  Please complete this and return it to school.

If applicable, please attach a photocopy of your child's Baptism Certificate. If you are applying under the church attendance criteria, you must have the form completed and signed by either the Rector or Church Warden.

The deadline for applications is Monday 17th January 2022.  Late applications will normally only be considered after the main allocation of places is finished.

Nursery Admission Arrangements

If your child turns three before 31st August 2022 you will be able to apply for a place in our school Nursery. We can offer morning and afternoon sessions as well as a limited number of places on a 30 hour basis if eligible.  Morning sessions run from 8.45am-11.45am and afternoon sessions run from 12.30pm - 3.30pm.  If you are eligible for the 30 hour funding and are offered a place then there are two options available with information upon request.

If more appliations are received than places available then we will apply our oversubscription criteria, please see our Nursery admissions policy below for more information.

Application forms for the September intake are usually available to collect from the school office towards the end of January in the year you wish to apply for, although it would be a good idea to give us a call to check first.

If we have more applications than places then we will need to apply our oversubscription criteria which you can view/downoad below.  Please also remember to complete the supplementary church forms below.
